Used car inspection
ASTC-TI has been officially authorized by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) as a designated inspection body. It can conduct inspections on used vehicles imported into Saudi Arabia and issue Saber inspection certificates.
The demand for imported used vehicles in the Saudi market is increasing. Used vehicles must apply on the Saber platform before shipment for quality inspection to ensure compliance with applicable SASO technical regulations and standards. Only after obtaining the inspection and shipment certificates can they be smoothly cleared through customs.
Application process for used car certificate
① Register as a user on the Saber Digital Platform and create a new request. ② Add vehicle information and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)，Choose ASTC as inspection body. ③ After the system generates an application UVCN number, provide it to the ASTC by email (ti@astcplus.com) to schedule an inspection. ④ Accept inspection quotation and arrange the request payments. ⑤ Submit the required documents and wait for the review to be completed. ⑥ Schedule an on-site inspection. After the inspection, verify the registration documents. ⑦ Issue the VISC clearance certificate.

2. Comprehensive Inspection: Engage a SASO-authorized agency to conduct 60+ item inspections.
3. SABER Certification: Obtain the VISC certificates.
4. Export and Transportation: Handle export licensing and arrange transportation.
5. Saudi Customs Clearance: Complete customs clearance, inspection, and vehicle registration using the certificates.
